As a Vancouverite who loves the great outdoors, I find immense joy in hiking and photography, often accompanied by my family. Our recent getaway to a charming rural hotel was a delightful experience. From the moment we checked in, the owner warmly welcomed us, taking time out of his busy schedule to register our information and even offer assistance with our luggage—though we opted to manage on our own. During our stay, we enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast, complemented by engaging conversations with the attentive staff. The facility, a beautifully maintained classic home, also featured a lovely upper deck balcony where we spent enchanting evenings under the stars. The owner’s commitment to sustainability, highlighted by solar panels, adds to its unique character. I was deeply satisfied with our experience, feeling not like guests but part of a family. I highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem!
